Although all of the data necessary to complete this analysis is available in each Party’s CRF spreadsheets, extracting time series data at the sectoral background data table level requires that you open the spreadsheet for each year. A laborious task!
A more efficient approach is to use the UNFCCC Locator tool. After opening the Locator, click on the “Time Series” tab. Here you can select the appropriate source category and then select the relevant parameters.
Remember that all option boxes must be completed before generating results. Once results are generated you can “Copy table to clipboard” and paste your results into a separate spreadsheet. This can be repeated for emissions, activity data, and implied emission factors for each sub-source category. You will then likely want to delete the rows for all Parties except Austria, Greece, and New Zealand from each of your tables.
