This training module should have provided you with the basic skills and knowledge to effectively perform as an expert reviewer of Parties’ fuel combustion submissions. In addition to your pre-existing expertise in the Energy Sector, you should have now have a comprehensive understanding of fuel combustion emission activities and the mistakes Parties most commonly make in estimating and reporting emissions from these activities. And given limitations in the time you will have to perform your review work, you should understand how to focus your efforts on issues that are most important to a Party’s compliance with the IPCC Guidelines and UNFCCC reporting guidelines. Finally, we hope that you now feel more comfortable in your ability to draft a review report for the fuel combustion portion of the Energy Sector and participate effectively as a member of a review team.
