TOPIC 5: CRF TABLES

5.9. Completeness - Information on notation keys Table 9(a) and on additional greenhouse gases Table 9(b)

Table 9(a)
Table 9(b)

Table 9(a) requires Parties to provide explanations for their use of the notation keys "not estimated" (NE) and "included elsewhere" (IE). This table can be a valuable source of information during your review work as it can help to track excluded categories, the justification provided by a Party for excluding a category, and how a Party has allocated emissions between sectors and categories.

Table 9(b) allows Parties to provide information on emissions of greenhouse gases whose GWP values have not yet been agreed upon by the COP.  These emissions and removals should be reported separately from national totals, and the GWP value and reference should be indicated.

5.10. Emission trends (Table 10)

This table provides summary information on CO2, CH4, and N2O emission trends from the base year to the latest reported year. It allows you to check the overall variation of the CO2, CH4, and N2O emissions across years by category and the overall variation of the Energy sector across years and the change from base year to latest reported year (in percent).
