3. Reviewing the NIR and CRF Tables Now it is time for you to begin your full review of New Zealand’s submission on emissions from fuel combustion. You should have both New Zealand’s National Inventory Report (NIR) and Common Reporting Format (CRF) tables, along with all the other supporting documentation (e.g., IPCC and UNFCCC documents). You should also have a way to take careful notes to record your observations and findings as you progress through New Zealand’s submission. You will notice that New Zealand’s National Inventory Report (NIR) is organized by greenhouse gas, rather than by sector. Detailed information on their emissions from fuel combustion is provided in Annex 2 of their NIR submission.
