The primary characteristic of the desk review approach is that you will remain at your home office and conduct the review from there. You will not engage in any travel for a desk review.

The desk review approach also benefits from having two experts per Sector, and it includes a smaller number of inventories to be reviewed.

However, unlike the other approaches, you will not have the benefit of a week to interact directly with your fellow review team members (the main benefit of a desk review is its lower financial cost). Therefore, you will be required to effectively schedule your work while still in your office in your home country.

Scheduling sufficient time for a desk review may be difficult, but it is critical that you dedicate time to the work if the review is to be successful.
