TOPIC 3: HIGHLIGHTS FROM IPCC GOOD PRACTICE GUIDANCE

A. Emission Factors
Parties are encouraged to use country-specific emission factors where possible, in order to better reflect the national environmental conditions and agricultural practices.

If these conditions vary within a country, disaggregated emission factors by region, climate zone, or management practice type - especially for key categories and significant sub-categories - should be developed.
