TOPIC 1: EXERCISES

In the following section, exercises are provided for you to practice what you have learnt so far. You should already have the 2006 inventory submission materials from six Annex I Parties downloaded onto your computer: Austria, Greece, Luxemburg, New Zealand, Slovakia and Ukraine. (Click here if you still need to download these materials.)

The exercises below will require you to utilize these materials to answer questions, as if you were part of an expert review team. In the course of your work on these exercises, it may help to have many of the Parties’ CRF files, or National Inventory Reports (NIRs) open on your computer at the same time. You can check your answers against the correct answers that are provided, together with a discussion, at the end of each question.

In all cases, though, you should first attempt to answer the questions before clicking for ? Help and you should not click on Answer until you have formulated your own answer. Doing so will only cause you to be less prepared for your final exam on this training module.
