This module consists of four lessons. Lesson 1 (Overview) covers background information on Agricultural source categories and the emissions process, as well as relevant aspects of the Revised 1996 IPCC Guidelines and the IPCC Good Practice Guidance. In Lesson 2 (Review Issues), you will examine key review issues in this sector.

For Lesson 3,
(Exercises) you will work with a set of exercises
which will sharpen your understanding of the background information
given and issues raised in the previous lessons.
Prerequisite: You must complete Lessons 1 and 2 before taking
Lesson 3.

In Lesson 4 ( Case Studies) you will examine two case studies and do the following:
- Evaluate the quality of Agriculture Sector emission estimates (e.g., methods, activity data and emission factors) submitted by a Party.
- Assess the quality of a Party’s system used in preparing the Agriculture Sector portion of its national GHG inventory submission.
- Determine if a Party’s reporting on Agriculture Sector meets transparency requirements.
Prerequisite: You must complete Lesson 3 before taking
Lesson 4.
